1. Which ingredients can be found in skin oil?
Avocado oil, Grapeseed oil, Jojoba oil, Tea tree oil, Mint oil, Calendula oil, Calendula extract, Bisabolol, Rosemarin extract, carotene and Vitamine E which protects cells and plays a role in the immunesystem. This product is free from harmful chemicals, additives or strong odors.
2. How should I use the skin oil?
Carefully apply to the sore skin. Use the skin oil once or several times per week. The urge to rub will diminish. For the best result we recommend washing the inflamed skin parts on a regular basis with the neem tree shampoo.
3. How long does a bottle of skin oil last per horse?
This depends on the extent that the horse suffers from sweet itch and whether the horse is wearing a Neck blanket but generally spoken the following can be said about this:
A 200 ml bottle of skin oil contains 130 dosages On average your horse needs 10 dosages. We assume 2 treatments per week. This comes down to 20 dosages per week. This means that on ebottle of skin oil can last you to 6-7 weeks. A 500 ml bottle contains 325 dosages. The 500 ml bottle will last you for about 4 months.
4. How does the Ivanhoe skin oil work?
The skin oil is a product that calms the skin. Horses with an irritated skin due to rubbing, feel less or no more urge to rub thanks to the skin oil. Almost immediately after application, you can see the skin become supple again.
5. What effect does Neem tree oil have in the Neem tree oil shampoo?
Neem tree oil is a natural working material. It derives from the tropical Neem tree, which has already been used for cosmetic purposes for over hundreds of years.
6. With what frequence can I use the Neem tree shampoo best, generally spoken?
Our advice is to wash your horse approximately once per month thoroughly with the Neem tree shampoo. This prevents sticking of the manes from using the skin oil and stimulates the fur and skin, whilst wearing the Ivanhoe rugs for a longer period of time.
